Six characters, six war-torn countries, six grotesque stories of escape, survival, and pretense. The uncertain terrain of a television competition and a single prize for the winner - U.S. citizenship. MeetFactory Theater presents the world premiere of a new play by Russian-French playwright Esther Bol (Crime, Mom).

In Infrared, you’ll witness a popular reality show that leaves no one unmoved. In the infrared spectrum, you can see beneath the surface of things. What is Ašti hiding - a scientist from a country ruled by religious fundamentalists? Who is Meran willing to become - a street performer who served time for terrorism in a Balkan country? What will Oksana, a pregnant contestant, sacrifice for victory? Her dignity, her country, or something even greater? Dark humor and the cynical pursuit of “likes” clash with a sincere desire for a better life across the ocean.

The author completed the play Infrared in the summer of 2025, before things started to happen in the American Empire of Dreams. Directed by Martina Frejová Krátká, the play features Annette Nesvadbová, Tereza Štěpánek Chytilová, Klára Suchá, Hynek Chmelař, Jan Jankovský, and Faraz Alam.
